What is the MOQ for custom versions of Spanclamps quarter turns?

Request of Customer :

When we get a request from a customer to have a modified quarter turn.
Would you require 500 pieces or 100 pieces?
For instance for a special requirement of using another lubrificant or O-ring or another component, I think you’ll need 500 pieces?
Yesterday, I had however a request for a part that would be used with two plates of 25mm.
The customer did ask if a special shank length could be done (so a longer shank)
Customer wrote: (Hi, is there a possibility for the length of the shaft the be extended? The two plates that will be joined together are 25mm each)
Would that be possible from less quantity for instance for: SCQT, SCSBLQT, SCBLPP, SCH-S

But want to know your capability on doing specials and the typicall leadtime that is then involved.

Spanclamp Feedback :

Thank you for asking about custom versions of quarter turns. The minimum quantity differs depending on the type of modification. The types of modification can be divided into 2 groups. One is changing a component like the lubricant and the o-ring, the other is making a custom component.

Changing a component:
We set the minimum quantity as 300 pcs. We should place the production order for these 300 pcs together with the next batch because the current batch is reserved for other customers or our stocks. So the lead time varies from 3 to 5 months depending on the timing.

Making a custom component:
We need the minimum quantity of 500 pcs. Our production has been very busy since the beginning of this year and we should outsource the production of the custom components. So we need at least 500 pcs and the lead time can be 3 to 5 months. Please note we can not extend the shaft of SCQT with a plastic knob due to the design. Steel knob or stainless knob type are fine.
