Is this correct?

Answer
Hi,
The lithium complex grease is used on the underside of the knob(area facing the body), and the body with the wedge parts is placed between the knob and the cam part and is enclosed by the screw.
Also, the grease is for inside the counterbore on the body and for the cam part, other than the underside of the knob.
(The grease is for the sliding areas of the product and is to ensure the smooth working.)
Question
Thanks for explaining,
Can you please provide a diagram which points out where the grease is used?
Based on your statement, what I understand is that the grease behind the knob and the cam is not likely to be exposed since it is enclosed by the screw.
Which would mean that it will not leak/spread to a plate that it is mounted on or to the finger of the operator that touches this clamp.
Do I understand you correctly here?
Answer
Regarding the grease application area, please find below the diagram.
You are right, the grease behind the knob and the cam is not to be exposed since these parts of the clamp are enclosed by the screw.
Since the amount of grease is only a little, we think that it will not leak/spread to an object that it is mounted on or to the finger of the operator that touches the clamp.
However, we would appreciate your understanding that we cannot promise that there is absolutely no possibility of such a problem.
